May enter play exerted. While in play, opponents must challenge a character with Bodyguard before any of your other characters.

When this character challenges, it gets +N strength for that challenge. Great for trading up into bigger characters.

Can only be challenged by other characters with Evasive. Makes for a hard-to-remove quester.

Can't quest, and must challenge if able. Pure aggression for cheap beaters.

Damage dealt to this character is reduced by N, helping it survive challenges and damage-based removal.

Can challenge the turn it's played, ignoring summoning sickness (for challenging only — not questing).

Play this character on top of one with the same name by paying its Shift cost instead of the full ink cost. Keeps damage/exerted state and can act immediately.

Counts as cost N for the purpose of singing songs, even if its own ink cost is lower.

When this character quests, you may add its strength to another chosen character's strength this turn.

When an opponent chooses this character for an effect, it is banished. Punishes targeted removal and bounce.

Can't be chosen by opponents except to challenge it. Dodges targeted removal and 'choose a character' effects.
